About Greatland Gablog

Since we arrived in Alaska, our family has shared our family news, with varying regularity, in a newsletter format which gave vignettes of our lives. Verity choose the name Greatland Gazette, Greatland being a loose translation of the Aleut word which Alaska comes from. We have decided to update to a family blog to share our news. We plan to include lots of pictures and fun along with wit and opinionated speeches. We decided to preserve the Greatland Gazette in the name of our blog. You are free to read the name "gablog" as you like, but it was chosen because it included part of the word gazette, as well as gab and blog.
